I. Before I Find My Way
I’ve loved drawing since I was a child. But I grew up in a small town and a time when academic success mattered more than artistic dreams, there was no YouTube, no online classes. If you didn’t do well in school, you were often punished. So I quietly tucked that longing away and followed the path I was supposed to take—studying hard and getting into a good university.
So I entered a great university, but I wasn’t interested in my major at all. I took Fine Arts classes whenever I could, but compared to classmates who had trained for years, I often felt far behind and wondered: was it really too late for me to become a professional artist?
But the thought of letting go of the same dream twice felt far worse than failure itself. After years of practice, I was eventually accepted into a master’s program in Fine Arts, specializing in oil painting.
II. A Small Beginning
After graduating from Fine Art degree , I worked as a graphic designer with a hospitality group that offered wedding services. That was when something quietly clicked.
I loved drawing portraits, creating cards, and making meaningful gifts.
Why not bring these passions into weddings and celebrations?
A small business idea was born.
III. The Storm I Never Saw Coming
I saved some money and quit my job, and in December 2019, my online shop was finally launched in Taiwan. I thought the hardest part was over. I was finally ready to take orders, and begin this beautiful new journey.
But just two months later, COVID changed everything.
Weddings were postponed, plans were put on hold. The future that once felt so certain suddenly became unknown. Money was running out, and we had no idea when the pandemic would end.
IV. A New Dawn
With the trust and support of over 1,500 couples, this small brand gradually grew into one of Taiwan’s trusted wedding invitation studios over the past six years.
Today, I feel ready to begin a new chapter with my new brand, Reverie Moments, and bring this journey onto an international stage.
The numbers in our logo represent the latitude and longitude of my hometown—a reminder of where this journey began, and the girl who refused to let go of her dream.
